Charterhouse, organizers of the prestigious Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs), have officially opened entries for the 27th edition of Ghana’s biggest and most respected music awards scheme.
The announcement signals the start of the annual awards season, generating excitement across the Ghanaian music industry as artistes and stakeholders prepare to submit their works for recognition.
Call for Entries Open to Industry Players and the Public
In an official statement, Charterhouse invited artistes, artiste managers, record labels, producers, instrumentalists, music composers, music industry stakeholders, and members of the general public to submit eligible musical works for consideration.
The open call ensures broad participation across the industry, allowing both mainstream and emerging talents the opportunity to be recognized on Ghana’s most prominent music awards platform.
According to the organizers, only songs, albums, and music-related works released between January 1 and December 31, 2025, qualify for submission for the 2026 awards ceremony.

Entry Deadline Set for February 8, 2026
Charterhouse has set Monday, February 8, 2026, as the official deadline for submissions. Industry players have been encouraged to submit their works early to avoid last-minute challenges and ensure their entries are properly reviewed.
The organizers emphasized that late submissions will not be accepted, reinforcing the importance of meeting the deadline.
Online Submissions Only
In line with previous editions, Charterhouse made it clear that all entries must be submitted exclusively through the official Telecel Ghana Music Awards online portal:
www.entry.ghanamusicawards.com
The organizers stressed that entries submitted through emails, physical delivery, or any other means will not be accepted, as the online portal remains the sole authorized submission channel.
This digital-first approach helps streamline the submission process, enhance transparency, and ensure fairness during the vetting and nomination stages.

Further announcements regarding nomination releases, voting timelines, and the awards ceremony date are expected in the coming months.
