Maiden THLD Health Excellence Awards Held to Honour Outstanding Health Workers

The Maiden THLD Health Excellence Awards was successfully held on 17th April 2026, in a collaborative effort between the Member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Lawrence Agyinsam, and the Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira (THLD) District Health Directorate.

The event marked a significant milestone in recognising and celebrating excellence in healthcare delivery across the district, bringing together health professionals, administrators, and key stakeholders from various health facilities.

In his remarks, the District Director of Health Services, Mr. Daniel Baah highlighted the importance of recognising the dedication of health workers and using such platforms to inspire continuous improvement.

“This initiative is not only to reward performance but to motivate all staff to continue delivering quality healthcare to our communities,” he noted.

  • Best Health Centre
  • Leadership Excellence Award – CHPS
  • Leadership Excellence Award – Health Centre
  • Most Outstanding CHPS Compound
  • Most Outstanding Health Centre
  • DDHS Special Excellence Award in Client Care
  • DDHS Special Award – Best Midwife

Awardees were selected based on key performance indicators, quality of care, innovation, teamwork, and overall contribution to health service delivery.
