Aston Villa have strengthened both ends of the pitch with the signings of highly rated winger Ibrahim Mbaye from Paris Saint-Germain and England defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis from Southampton, continuing one of the club’s most ambitious summer rebuilds in years.
Villa have agreed to pay €55 million (£47 million) for 18-year-old Mbaye, while Harwood-Bellis arrives for an initial £25 million, with the deal potentially rising to £29 million through add-ons.
The double signing gives manager Unai Emery further depth as Villa reshape their squad after a summer of major departures.
Both players could make their debuts against Hull City on Saturday.
Ibrahim Mbaye Arrives From Paris Saint-Germain
Mbaye is one of the most exciting young attacking players in European football.
