Mfuom CHPS Compound has been adjudged Best CHPS Compound at the Maiden THLD Health Excellence Awards, held on 17th April 2026.

The awards event, organised by the Member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Lawrence Agyinsam, in collaboration with the Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira (THLD) District Health Directorate, sought to recognise outstanding performance and dedication among health facilities and workers within the district.

Mfuom CHPS earned the top honour following its consistent performance in delivering quality primary healthcare services, particularly in areas such as maternal and child health, community outreach, and preventive services.

The facility’s commitment to improving health outcomes and maintaining high standards of care distinguished it among other CHPS compounds in the district.

The recognition of Mfuom CHPS highlights the critical role of Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compounds in bringing healthcare closer to communities, especially in rural and hard-to-reach areas.
